TogetheRide Weekly Newsletter: 11/17/20
November 16, 2020
It’s November and this month we’re talking about the HIV Continuum of Care. Supporting people with HIV to move through the steps of the continuum; diagnosis, linkage to care, retention in care and viral suppression are all critical parts of the work of San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
From testing to treatment, our benefiting agencies keep clients healthy by treating the whole person, ensuring they are connected to the programs and services needed to thrive.
Want to test your continuum of care knowledge? We challenge you to fill out the HIV Continuum of Care
crossword puzzle. Need to study up?

Dear TogetheRep John-Elliott Kirk,
I’m feeling confused about TogetheRide, and a little behind with all of my emails.
What’s your best advice on how I can get involved and up to speed?
Dear Busy Barb,
TogetheRide might seem complicated, but it’s actually pretty straightforward! Between now and June, we’re logging a collective 1.2 million miles in honor of the 1.2 million lives affected by HIV/AIDS across the country. Every month, we’ll discuss a different aspect of our mission to end AIDS to give you the tools to talk to supporters about why their donations matter. To get involved, follow these steps:
1. Log into your Participant Center at www.togetheride.org
3. Hop in the saddle, strap on your boots, or lace up your rollerblades and log your first mileage feat! Moving will earn you Badges.
4. Secure your first donation! Once you receive your first donation of the season you will earn the washable TogetheRide bib! Check out the design for this and more of this season’s Thank You Gifts.

Looking at you Team Portland!
Shout-out to new team co-captains Aaron Ray and Kristen Shaffer, who are actively recruiting Portland-based participants to join their team. They’ve already logged over 600 miles to contribute to our TogetheRide-wide 1.2 million mile goal!
HUGE shout-out to Mario Martinez,
our fierce indoor cycling instructor from this past month’s Bike-a-thon and our current #1 rider on the top mileage leaderboard. Mario has already logged 894 miles for TogetheRide!
